In the Kitchen Battle, you compete in tasks that are everyday for the trained chef. Everything can occur, from beating a meringue to recognizing flavors in a sensory test.

Fermented herring tasting
Ulvön is strongly associated with sour herring and if there is anywhere you should try this cultural dish, it is of course here!
The hotel's chef will guide you through the history of sour herring, the craftsmanship behind both the production and assembly of a classic sour herring clip.
Of course, you will also see how to open a can!
Our chef will demonstrate how it all works and then everyone in the group will get to try a small sour herring clip.
